Kylo Browser

Kylo Browser

Since I joined the HDTV revolution, I’ve had a PC hooked up the TV, but it has not been without it’s irritations. The biggest problem stems from the fact that browsers are designed to be seen from two feet away not twenty.

But the other day I found the Kylo browser. This IS a browser designed to be used on a TV. The buttons are nice and big, there is a built in onscreen keyboard, and a homepage that links to all the online video sites with nice big images. I’ve been using it for about a week now and I have no intentions of going back. Check it out, it’s worth a look.

The Loop

The Loop

Made by the same folks a Kylo is “The Loop“. The Loop is a open air mouse that is designed to work from across the room. From what I can gather it works like a Wiimote for your computer. At only $49, it’s cheaper than a lot of the wireless mice out there, including the MS mouse we have that has incessant range issues. It’s on my wishlist and I’ll be picking one up soon, unless my birthday gets here first (hint, hint).
